Root Canal

Root Canal Huntington Park

Root canal is a procedure done to save the natural tooth that has one or more of these conditions.

  1. Deep cavity that has injured or infected the nerve.
  2. Failed root canal.
  3. Infection of one or more roots
  4. Crack inside the tooth causing nerve damage.

During root canal therapy the damaged nerve inside the root is removed. After shaping and cleaning the roots, they will be sealed to prevent further infection or pain. A crown is recommended to cover the tooth treated with the root canal. This will prevent further tooth fracture.
